Changes at Local office
Gail Olson
We are sad to annouce that due to declining membership forced upon us by AT&T downsizing, the Executive Board members voted to end the full time employment of our Local clerk. Gail Olson served this Local for 17 years.
She was hired by Andy Kosar's administration in July 1986 and at the time she thought she was just filling in and would not be working for our Local very long. Gail had taken over from our prior clerk named Maureen Major when this Local had 500+ members. She said she was fairly treated by Andy Kosar's and Mary Lou Algiere's administrations. Gail has no immediate plans although she did mention the desire to open her own business. Gail will continue to help us for one day a week. We wish her the best of luck in whatever career she chooses to pursue.
